S.T.A.R.S.
The S.T.A.R.S. of FNBStop. Think. Act. Review. Superbly.
Bill | The Bartender
Failed actor turned life-long Bartender. Hates the customers, his bitter ex-wife, and isn’t too sure which one of his co-workers he would like to kill first.
Cesar | The Busboy
Cesar has grand plans to one day be like The Donald, as evidenced by his reading spanish versions of all of his book during pre-shift and spare time. He is a hard worker who doesn’t really understand why the rest of the staff complains so much and why they can’t seem to do even the most simple of tasks without making a fuss.
Jamie | Hostess
Nate’s personaly shrink and Kristen’s buddy buddy!
Julio | Busboy
Julio’s family used to run a successful business in Argentina, he speaks five languages (for real), and is probably the smartest person at the restaurant. Yet, he came to America and works as a busboy. He grows tired of Lena thinking he is Mexican.
Kevin | Manager
Thirty seven pieces of flair anyone? He is by the books, overly feminate (claims to get with the ladies but no one is too sure of that), and is the replacement for the old manager, Wes, who was fired because he got a DUI during an ice run. Kevin has taken over after one of the staff kills a customer by accident with a ball point pen. It’s his job to use as many acronyms and rules to whip the complacent staff back into shape. And he is going to look fabulous doing it!
Kristen | Waitress
She’s been vegan a week. But by her steak eaters guilt trips, bloody PETA tee-shirts, and Morrissey vegetarian leaflets, you would think she’s been vegan all her life! She’s an alabaster child and not afraid to let the customer’s know about the dangers of a rib eye!
Lena | Waitress
Lena is 26, so her prospects of being an actress are dwindling. But in the mean time, until she gets that big gig, she works in the FNB. She is convinced she is on the level with the busboys, though her bad Spanish puts her in some hot water with Cesar and Julio. In the mean time, she is not the least bit shy about adding a huge tip onto the drunk guy’s bill, because he wont notice anyways..
Mir | Waiter
Mir is from.. well, no one knows, he is from over there. Mir is a professional waiter and takes his job very seriously. He can’t stand Kristen because she doesn’t eat meat, is another victim of Nate and Lena’s cultural insensitivity/aloofness, and is obsessive about folding napkins.
Nate | Waiter
Nate is “living the dream”, though he means that in the worst way possible. Another actor whose biggest concern is not wanting to update his waiter resume after turning 30. He can usually be found dealing with all the annoying customers by drinking all the house wine and is pondering the eternal question as to why people think water is a starter. He has been in the industry way too long, but one screenplay or lotto ticket, and he is finally getting out. In the mean time, he will ignore the rules, dread the customers, and maybe put good use to life saving techniques with a ball point pen.
New Guy | Waiter
New guy has worked in more restaurants than he can count, and he is just one more prick customer, one more specialty substitution on the side order, one more crappy co-worker remark away from losing it and going postal..
